I Feel Pretty

Aight let’s get something out of the way. Going into this movie I expected it to be bad, and that’s not an entirely fair thing to think going into any movie. I don’t think it’s a huge deal but I do think it’s important for me to take note of biases like that before talking about a movie. That being said let’s move forward. You can watch a brief version of my thoughts or read a little more in-depth down below. I Feel Pretty is a new comedy movie starring Amy Schumer, the movie follows the story of Renee Bennett,…

New Phone Who Dis?

Well my poor iphone 5 has officially kicked the bucket. Technically the phone still works, even though the screen looks so brutal. However, after a drop in the toilet ( before any bodily functions for those curious, silver linings Y’all) it stopped taking a charge. Plugging it in could keep the battery right where it was, so basically I could keep it on life support. That’s no way to live though is it? So I went down to Wal-Mart yesterday and got myself a shiny new upgrade! All the way to an iPhone 6! WHOOOOO I’m living like a king…

Tilters

Everyone has these little things that just annoy them to no end. There really isn’t a good reason to get that upset about them, but we do. Our pet peeves just really dig into us and push our buttons. Here are some of the things that put me on tilt. Women: Nah I’m just playing, we all know its white people that actually get me on tilt. Specifically French Canadians. Scatter Arrow: This is the stupidest thing in all of Overwatch, and this is a game filled to the brim with things that are stupid. For those unaware, Scatter Arrow…

Facebook

I have political opinions. Sometimes I think that because I never post about them that people assume I don’t have them. I totally do, but I also don’t like to talk about them because I never feel like I’ve got enough information or the whole picture about a particular situation. The last thing I want is to be one of those people posting endless political ramblings without providing actual evidence or context for said ramblings. I especially don’t want to be a freaking cheerleader for one side, unlike most of what I see on Facebook, but maybe half of you are…

Movie Roundup: April 3rd

I’m back with another set of movies to talk about and I’ve upgraded to video format. This week I’m talking about Midnight Sun, 7 Days in Entebbe, and Ready Player One. If you want to just hear me talk about Midnight Sun that’s right at the start, if you want to hear about 7 Days in Entebbe you can skip to here. Finally if you want to hear about Ready Player One skip right to this part. Later. Fun fact, those stupid black bars only appear on the embedded version here, on YouTube itself they don’t exist. I just don’t…

Da King

It’s been a while since I talked about burgers, hasn’t it? Luckily for me, and really unlucky for my body Burger King just came out with a brand new burger. The Sourdough King. I know that I’m supposed to be eating healthier and honestly, I have been, but the Sourdough Jack from Jack in the Box is one of my all-time favorite burgers so how could I not try Burger King’s version? The answer, of course, is with self-discipline but it’s far too late for that now. I’ll go back to eating salads and vegetables today. Saturday though? It was all about this…

Bad Smashers

I love to Smash. I mean that I love to play Nintendo’s classic beat-em-up Super Smash Brothers of course. I’m also absolutely fascinated with people who are exceptionally bad at Smash Bros. Like the only played it a handful of times in their entire lives, don’t know how their characters work or even what all the buttons on the controller do bad. Watching people like that play this game that I’ve dumped a sizable number of hours into is both heart-wrenching and inspiring. The heart-wrenching part is easy enough to understand for anyone who is good at something and had…
